We spent over a tenner on burgers and cakes. There was good apple pie in Carnwath. Bronze medal winner in the 2010 Scottish Pie championships - alongside their Chicken Balmoral pie. The meat in the pies was 100% meat, but in sausage rolls was only 25% meat. Steak Ashit was also available as was a tattie scone in a roll and if you'd asked they probably would have put one of their pies in a roll. Coffee came out a proper machine in a nice glass cup - espresso looked like it had a good crema on it. A little bit of pastry light shining in the brownery* of South Lanarkshire.</p> <p>* = there is no green.
