Long story short I ended up in hospital with a smashed collar-bone, a hip bursitis and shoulder to calf road-rash (they clean that with a medicated scourer pad). Appreciate how difficult shooting was - I was standing all on my lonesome marshalling the last hairpin corner in a "showerproof" (i.e. not showerproof) jacket and shorts.
