chdot this was the thread i had in mind (not actualluy matt seaton), but as will be obvious from comments similar debates arise elsewhere.

I agree it is a decent blog with some interesting stuff, although I generally find the comments quite good. But can'[t see the point to a book. suspect it is one of those things that they now feel the need to do.

Thanks for pointing out the Grauni ad blogs, I hadn't seen them before. I like the video to the Dutch systems from 7th April.

As long as they don't copy the comments section... I'll still not buy it but that havering on any new comments section doesn't deserve to be preserved.

I hope the book isn't just another 'cut n paste' of the blogs = money spinner.

"barrage of complaints"

Must have missed those.

I thought MS 'gave up' because he was in NY. If you follow him on Twitter he seems his time running or marshalling races.

The other main G cycling writer, former Edinburgh cyclist Helen Pidd, is currently in Berlin.

I notice that since a barrage of complaints about the bike blog being two London focussed (also complaints about the New York stories by Matt Seaton), that there ahve been fewer posts, and none by Seaton.

Is there any industry scuttlebutt on what has happened?
Or, have they just run out of things to write about?
