Or is this just about folk at the council planning department having nothing better to do than dream up road schemes? I think one or two CCErs know the town quite well? It wasn't particularly busy when we were there. It <em>was</em> windy and rainy and I don't recall seeing too many cyclists.</p> <p>I did see one of the stands for the Dumfries Cycle Hire scheme. None of the bikes were 'out', a few had been toppled over, presumably by the wind. No sign of nay vandalism though. </p>
