But the motion sensors can be annoying if you have a deskjob and don't move! </p> http://citycyclingedinburgh.info/bbpress/topic.php?id=3156#post-33313 Tue, 14 Jun 2011 08:33:55 +0000 Dave 33313@http://citycyclingedinburgh.info/bbpress/ <p>Everywhere in our new office there are high-tech light detector systems so that the lights will only be on if somebody is moving about.</p> <p>The toilets and other public-facing rooms have signs saying "please keep the door closed so we can save energy".</p> <p>But because the lights *always* come on when somebody is moving, they come on anyway even when the room is very bright due to the direct sunshine (wall-to-wall windows, albiet frosted in the loos).</p> <p>How rediculous. </p>
