I had my bikes on my home insurance but had to claim for a bike last year which was nicked from Cambridge. We also claimbedm for a TV a couple of years ago when the wee boy threw the remote at it in a tantrum. Our insurance quote has risen to around ~800 per year. Thats nearly double my car insurance!!!

Hence a separate insurance for the bikes shoud limit my claims on my home and contents should anyone nick my current bikes.

Cheers I'll look at these links now.

CTC have a recommended provider for cycle insurance. There are also these guys.

I don't use dedicated insurance myself. My bikes are not that valuable and I've been with Endsleigh for years, covered under home insurance and always covered any claims.

Can anyone recomend a good company who don't quible about payouts should i ever need to claim?

Thanks,
