What about these rides then?

Not for families? TryCycling was really for families (but was too popular with the paths not being able to cope!)

You just answered !!

"Or do they mean 'no under 16s in charge of younger children'?"

Think they basically mean NO CHILDREN.

Which will appeal to some people, but still leaves the 'family' gap left by the ending of TryCycling in Edinburgh.

"I've lost SPOTTED again- search never finds it(!)"

It does - but not as easily as it should - even using "advanced".

Sunday 31st July : EasyCycle Short Ride
A short informal ride of about 12 miles, which will be taken at a gentle pace with plenty of stops. These rides are especially suitable for less experienced adult riders and those who haven't cycled for a while (16- and 17-year olds are also welcome if accompanied by a responsible adult, but no under-16s please).

I've lost SPOTTED again- search never finds it(!)

Saw forumer at TBW (Stepdoh - hope I got handle right - too many S's in forum!). Just before that two cyclists put up an EasyCycle poster.

Also saw a Thorn Childback tandem with one child pedalling and other in child seat. This though would not be valid for EasyCycle? Or do they mean 'no under 16s in charge of younger children'? Email is on link so we can get answer I'm sure.

Good to see another option from north of city.
