A chap on an orange road bike with chino-coloured baggies and a checked shirt. He looked in some amount of discomfort - and I'm hope I'm right with this - he also didn't look <em>too</em> seriously injured and was talking with the paramedics. Did look at a bit of a strange angle so there may be some broken bones.</p> <p>Always hard to work out what might have happened and I'm loathe to speculate, but looks like he may have been on the roundabout and caught by or between a car already on it and another coming on to it from South Gyle Broadway. It's not a fun roundabout, there's limited sightline because the roundabout has a raised centre planted with trees, so you can't see across it, and because most traffic goes straight across from one long, straight fast bit of road to another, car speeds are quite high.</p> <p>But I think and hope he'll be fine.</p> <p>First day back on the commute today.
