They do certainly do up nice and neatly round the calf, and they have this useful extra flap that folds down over the top of your shoes to keep the rain out of the top.</p> <p>The only down side is that the leg openings at the bottom are a bit small and so I struggled to get them on when I'd got boots on in the winter. Rather seemed a fairly slim fit, especially at the lower leg, probably a zipper down the side, and in a matte black fabric. Anyone have any idea what I was seeing? Have a birthday imminent and wanted to ask for a pair! </p>
