I've tried Opera and Opera Mini, Dolphin and Firefox.

They are all different and have strengths and weaknesses when used in a 'phone.

In the end I came back to Internet because it seems to do most things pretty well and seems to very stable too.

Your mileage may vary, and a lot depends on what you are trying to do. Office Live Web Apps are a good stress test and Internet works well except OneNote, which doesn't work on any of the above.

@Dave C I was wondering the same thing.

I use the web browser on my HTC, but I keep thinking there must be a better way.

I tried the RSS feed, but they are never really up to date enough.

Tapatalk sounds good - if it works.

How do people on here surf whilst mobile? I wondered if there was a good Android App to surf via instead of using the Internet app? Does Taptalk work?

Forget your worries about smatphones and roaming data charges. My HTC (other brands are available) roamed 0 bytes of data while in Sweden for 3 day but..

It is allowing me to read CCE and type this mid air over Norway!

Well done to Norwegian for doing free WiFi on board and good by rip-off-roaming charges.

One complaint though. Cycle streets can't find a way home for me.
