Also a lot of "infrastructure", both good and bad.</p> <p>It was interesting to me that the "inter-city" style provision, like the newly widened section of path near the A90 on NCN1, was well used but in towns, where there are a lot of quite complex road setups, much traffic and pavement "infrastructure" we could only dream of, people still rode on the road.</p> <p>Perhaps there are "anti-infrastructuralists" but it's not clear to me that these aren't in fact simply realists. On the substance - I would disagree wholeheartedly. Scotland does not lack for high quality cycling strategies, design guidance and so on.
