Our driver told us it was only his second time through, he had a wet arm from the first time through as he hadn't shut the window. It was a little too loud in the depot for our 3 year old however.</p> <p>Hankchief, we went to the tower a couple of years ago and the guy commented that they had been open every Sunday throughout the summer but most weeks it was very quiet. Scotland's only pre-reformation stained glass window), The Assembly Hall briefly then a hike down to the bus depot which was the worst kind of hell. Too hot, too busy, too noisy. Bah, so we left after five minutes!</p> <p>Having a buggy really didn't help although it was much quieter when we went two years back. Started from Queensferry Road and made good progress until the slope increased dramatically.</p> <p>Having done quite a bit of pushing we were then confronted with steps. Got there not long after it opened but it was already heaving, and just got busier.
