Bottles also go back get cleaned and re-filled. All this costs money of course but it makes you feel better at brekkie than reading about bingo</p> <p>My old boss lived in Shandon colonies in 1960s and milk came by horse drawn cart. Every morning he heard the trundle then his downstairs neighbour scuttling out, shovel in hand, scraping up the cobbles for the feed for his roses.
