@DaveC, I checked out the sections on traffic wardens and Top Gear, then decided I'd had enough. Alastair MacGowan and Mark Radcliffe were two of the more thoughtful contributors, from what I saw. As for the rest, apart from the Irish 'former cyclist' chap (Byrne, I think) I shall be blacklisting anything they appear in from now on. It's too easy to pick on cyclists for a cheap laugh: needless to say I had a sense of humour failure given some of the 'wit' on display. Taxi driver style ranting, most of it.

Watched this on iPlayer (so I could fast forward through the irrelevant bits), and the venom directed towards cyclists was considerable. Second only to traffic wardens in the hate list for motorists it seems! All the stereotypes: road tax, lycra, RLJ, shouldn't be on the road, etc.

Interesting though that one minor celeb (they were all comedians) was a (former) cyclist and therefore sympathetic, save for castigating RLJers.

Grumpy motorists were on BBC 2 this evening.

10 points and a brown loaf if you can guess what they said about cyclists.

And then lots of them admitted to speeding.

Boys went to Cub fun day in Coatbridge today. I let them have a camcorder in the trailer so I'm going to see what they were getting up to at 28 mph down the hill.
