Presumably because the elephant in the room is the facts that there are too many cars and mass car ownership/usage is not sustainable.</p> <p>This is where the old political equation comes into play:</p> <p>V+H=T</p> <p>V being vested interests, H being habitual behaviour, and T being ineffective tinkering.</p> <p>Sums up our entire political system really! It is a direct consequence of their car centric policies, we need change.
