@cyclingmollie, yes, unless Kawasaki start building bicycles in which case green ones will clearly be faster ;-)

By chance I've ended up with more black two wheelers than any other colour, my favourite colour out of mine though is the slightly sparkly mettalic red on my OCR :-)

So in answer to the op, whatever you like best on the day/bike.

I'm loving the silver but a candy-coat blue/green would be sweeeet.

I read a thing once saying that black is the best colour because it's the only one that doesn't fade and that you can get an exact match for. This means you can touch it up in later years without the touch-up showing.

Of the bikes that I own, I don't like the colour of the bianchi (not green nor blue CELESTE). It's fine when its new but once it's dirty and scratched not so good.

Black or white or Gunmetal Grey or red or blue&white or Holly Green.

Think that just about covers the ones I've got.

Used to have a nice salmoney pink Specialized which was unusual at the time.

Interesting question. I'm planning to get my Raptobike frame repainted locally, and have the same dilemma.

Something metallic and flash for me though, because all the other ones in the country are vanilla white and so I expect to make more when I sell it than the cost of the job...

Deep metallic green or blue, I think.

Whichever colour thieves are least likely to consider worth bethofting?

If I get my old frame repainted during the get-it-back-on-the-road process I was going to go for an unpleasant greenish-brown snot/earwax colour to decrease the resale value. Currentbike and oldframe are both red, just because oldframe happened to be red and currentbike was only available in red or blue when I chose it. On reflection blue would have been better as so many accessories have unavoidably come in various combinations of red/grey/black/white, which might have created the entirely wrong impression that I was trying to get everything to match.

What's the best colour for a bike?

I used to like a nice metallic blue but now I'm into silver.
