We occasionally drive through the grounds of Norton House, e.g. coming back from airport.

Edin Pk Stn is close but sometime prefer Haymarket as easier to get to it per vias rectas. But tomorrow need to make train at specific time and only way is Edn Pk. An adventure.

There's another one. ("Route passes through grounds of Norton House Hotel - good for afternoon tea.")

Right of Way through field. Of course it should have been made into a proper cycle route to RBS Gogar - but that's several other stories...

Thanks Chris - might try that on the way back - not sure bout the big roundabout at Park N Ride on Calder Rd, never gone over it but quite sensible route via Hermiston on way back that then cuts up through Heriot Watt. Will probably attempt south side of EdnPk station on way via Cutlins Rd. (and small stretch of canal to get under/over A71. Of course all depends on blizzards.

Does anyone know if you head west out of the North side of Edinburgh Park Train Station if you can get under the bypass? On Google Earrth there is a tunnel but not sure if accessible - it comes out at Gogar Station Rd.
