I made the mistake of wearing what I wore yesterday, so overheated. When I unzipped my waterproof to cool down I got quite wet from the mist vapour. I've no idea how long it took but I guess an hour and a half, 20 mins longer than I normally take. It took me 40% longer to ride to work this morning, which is quite impressive over just four miles. Inglis Green Rd, Longstone Rd and the Calder Rd were all chock-a-block and barely moving, but @edintravel hasn't reported any accidents. I eventually resorted to a bit of overtaking and a lot of sitting in line and waiting, but was hampered by a lack of manoeuvreability of the monstrousbike; great machine for endless roads and touring, not so good for traffic jamming at 3mph.</p> <p>Actually, the train home from Alloa on Sunday evening was also stuffed full.
