<description>&#60;p&#62;Sounds pretty bad, I would stop using it in case it jams.  You could try asking a locksmith for an opinion, the guys on Bread Street (Mclaren?) are pretty good.

<description>&#60;p&#62;My (somewhat aged) Abus D lock is showing signs of wear and tear.  In particular, the inside bit with the lock in it has started spinning around and around like a spindle. Is this a sign that I should stop using it immediately or risk it dying completely? Or just an annoyance?
