"used a camera-cleaning rocket blower to dislodge slush and ice"

If it's that powerful, hate to think what it would do to a camera!?

How odd. I had same problem and solved it by using degreaser spray on end of a cotton bud to remove the dust build up from the fan blades, then a tiny drop of chain lube on the bearing that the fan rests on. Sorted!

Related to the above, I used a camera-cleaning rocket blower to dislodge slush and ice from my bike's nooks and crannies last winter.

If your computer's graphics card fan is making horrible grindy sounds and on opening the case you find a world of dust inside, simply pop a football-inflating nozzle on your track pump and blow it out... Computer looks like new now.

Anyone else found novel retaskings of bikular kit?
