My brother and I had talked about trying to get registered for the Etape next year. Two routes have been announced. One in the Alps; one in the Pyrenees. The Pyrenees route takes in a couple of more famous climbs (the Col d'Aubisque and the Col de Peysourde most notably, with two other HC climbs), over 122 miles. It happens to start in Pau where a couple of friends moved to this year; and my sister is taking her partner there to see the Tour for her 40th next year as well.

Registration opens on November 17th. Fingers crossed (and then a HUGE amount of training).
