It doesn't stop them painting on the walls, just means it comes off at the first attempt. They had finished and tidied up on my return about a hour later. The days of just sticking a camera on a pole are long gone in Scotland. Local authorities cant afford to support new cameras and there is not much funding around, so they are using a toolkit developed along with the police as part of a community safety strategy.
