&#60;p&#62;The only time I was ever trapped in a lift I had a Claud Butler with me. I made sure the bike got out first.

Maybe if there was a lift from the Innocent Line to Arthur's Seat ...?  Or a bike track from the top of the chairlift at Hillend?
