I've still done only 4km so far, which isn't much! Temperatures were falling rapidly but it was a beautiful sunset. </p> <p>The tyres will be coming off until we're once again threatened by ice. </p> <p>I used the Conti Ice Spikers on the MTB for commuting last year and never had any scary moments. Clearly neither me nor the bike liked it - my commute to work usually takes less than 15 minutes but it was over 18 today. </p>
