I decided that Bagshot road was out - too dangerous, A90 was out as I didn't fancy being blinded again so took the road through Dalmeny Estate. OMG is was VERY DARK and I guess I could see around 7 - 10m at the most? I saw three cars, which I pulled over to let past, and it was spookily dark and quiet appart from the wind wipping past my ears. In S Queensferry I stopped to add a snaplight (which was out of date and the light emitted was pants!!, just as I passes a police car exiting a T junction onto my road heading for Tesco's. I couldn't wear my glasses between Gyle and Corstorphine and Gyle and Dalry (long story why I did 2 commutes this evening) due to the silly amounts of condensation and dazzling effect of fullbeam headlights.</p> <p>Someone ought to tell drivers that there's a reason cars have foglamp setting and using fullbeams, no matter HOW stupidly bright, will <strong>not </strong>melt the fog magically away and increase their visibility.
