He worked with Eno on this so it has a less sparse, more sort of dreamy/ ambient sound, but still with hints of the Motorik beat.</p> <p>And talking of Motorik apparently invented by Klaus Dinger specifically for Neu!. He went on to La Dusseldorf with his brother and carried with it the his signature drumming sound (La Dusseldorf or Viva albums. Not heard the 3rd, but I think it went a bit sort of german-folk pop. It certainyl has oompahs in the track that I have heard).</p> <p>Others on the "krautrock" usual suspect lists would be Cluster, Amon Duul II, Tangerine Dream. Trouble it is so psychodelic that you might easily fall off your bike even if it is on a turbo trainer. Mac is easier, as recombodna says, use Garageband. If you have a PC there's a great suite of recording tools for free from <a href="http://www.dynebolic.org/">Dyne:bolic</a> which is a bootable CD version of Linux with sound editing tools and more.
