I didn't vote but if i could have I would have voted to have Gary Lineker voted off, not just the show, but TV. I never watched the show in full and only turned in at half time in the footie - then full time to see victorious cycling. Both times I tuned in I heard Coldplay. Mark Cavendish's persona may be difficult, even at times irritating (though personally I'm a fan). This is not an award for being personable, its for a personality. There's no denying he has heaps of that, whether we find him likeable or not is beside the point. What he's managed to do is astounding. To be only 14 stage wins in the Tour off the record is remarkable. And road race world champion, superb. But by turns he annoys me then entertains me. That said, always happy to see him win a stage. I just look at someone like Cipollini, who had the same arrogance which I think is absolutely needed as a sprinter at the top level, but who had utter style to go with it. But then with Cav there's always the possibility he'll ride all the way to Paris (as he's done in the last couple). Torment, thy name is Cav!
