The Scotsman | Group drives transport talk

"The main opposition group on the city council is to hold a public event to discuss transport policies it would implement if it wins the election.

Labour councillors are holding the event from 7pm tonight at Stockbridge House in Cheyne Street in order to feed into its manifesto for May’s council elections.

The group has already published a consultative document, Moving Edinburgh Forward, but wants to gather more views in advance of its final manifesto.

The meeting is to discuss how to keep the city moving while tackling pollution, and how to get more people to walk, cycle or use public transport. "

(That's the entire story by the way, just to save you clicking)
