It's printed in Cambuslang but the journalists are where STV used to be. Address is indeed Renfield St.

I stopped reading it when they went behind a pay wall recently. Mostly I just read the Letters and Iain MacWhirter anyway. You can get MacWhirter's pieces on his blog a wee while later.

£50 a month is not much for train fares, assuming works 5 day week about £2.50 a day. Given his route is canal towpath that would put him in the West End of Glasgow?. If he lives further out and only goes in a few times a week he might live in Lenzie or Kirkintilloch. Canal towpath decent surface until at least Possil and apart from the odd jakey a nice commute to work. Herald moved from Candleriggs [but the Press Bar did not sell out so the condominiums that were put into the space where the newspaper building was drop 8 storeys for the length of the pub then go back up again]. Office now might be in Renfield St.

Dave C - not aware of one, but we might be able to figure something out on here? Already have coffee (and Arthur's seat) buddy systems...

@CyclingEdin I did but luckily I've got a direct, no-nonsense route to work on the Forth and Clyde canal. No roads (or planning) involved

I assume he's in Glasgow.

There have been various 'Bike Buddy' schemes (Edinburgh and elsewhere), not sure how many takers they get.

First day cycling to work today. Reckon it will save me around £50 a month train fare and buff me up good. If I can stick to it...
