It's always good to hear loud laughter directed at road ragers. Looking forward to seeing the photos, Anth.

I cycles past that too, large fire engine on the slip road. Drove through there a few hours later and the tyres marks in the grass down the hill were very apparent. Perhaps they should have barriers.

I didn't see the actual crash but there was a huge tailback on the FRB last night because of a BMW and sporty Mazda on the grass banking between the slip road off the Echline roundabout and the main carriageway. Looks like both had gone through the crash barrier after, I theorise, racing and jockeying for position on the slip road. The knobs.

Car on car action at lunchtime today on Lothian Road. Looks like one driver had wound up in the wrong lane, then had shifted to the correct lane without looking. Lots of honking - boy racered Pug 207 overtakes big silver Beemer.

Brake tests him; does it again but stops this time. Out of car, shouting abuse at BMW driver; BMW driver out shouting abuse back, but from behind the opened car door as a shield. Lots of posturing and testosterone. No fisticuffs. I was a distance away, but snapping photies in case of escalation.

Looking back they both appear middle-aged middle-classy (despite the boy racered Pug). I just find it funny that people are willing to have such a public barney (it was right beside a full bus stop as well - I could hear people laughing).
