I have a set on one of my bikes and was so impressed I' bought a second set for my other road bike. You can't really see with them along and I use them to suppliment my visability at night and to save power to the main light when I'm on well lit paths where I don't need a front light to see by.

I ride an Orange cyclocross with black leggings and yellow florecent top if you recall what the rider looked like. These bar end lights do have indicators but they are only good for upto 6ft I recon plus drivers aren't going to be expecting indicators so I don't bother with indicators and use my arm as usual.

Brilliant lights to have in addition to the usuals.
Mine unfortunately point slightly upwards due to the angle of my bars.
They also add a fair bit of side visibility too.

Jackson Priest from this very CCE has a set, and very handsome they are; I think you can spot them on the picture anth took of Hilly Tuesday, maybe second or third page of that thread.

I chap passed me on a bike last night whilst I was walking and I noticed that he was very well illuminated and appeared to have rear/red lights on his handlebar ends, and very effective they were too...these are what I assume he must have had fitted as they are the only ones I can find on the on-line sites. They were very good and noticeable. They would only work on drop handlebars though. Would be great if you could have indicators like this save you taking your hands off the bars.
