If you cut as a spiral, you can get a long, constant section that is conveniently pre-coiled.</p> <p>I have the old Shimano band from my Alu-framed road bike that I had to replace when I moved the derailleur over to the steel frame, which has considerably narrower tubes. I'll measure it tonight as it may be correct width for your seat tube?
