Every single walk along the Water of Leith I'm keeping an eye out for a blue streak. </p> <p>Now, I live in Duddingston, which really isn't that far from the Jewel, so whereabout was it you saw the mythical beast? I am back to coming along NCN route 1 on my way in. This is much more relaxing. I come into KB from Eskbank - the alternative when it is icy is via Gilmerton Road - far less pleasant (and hilly). </p> <p>With the sun up before I start now and the wonderful spring wildlife, it was gorgeous even when I was almost pushed backwards by the rather invigorating wind.
