<description>&#60;p&#62;Assume it rhymes with ceilidh so therefore sounds the same as the Marillion song &#60;em&#62;Kayleigh&#60;/em&#62;. I've heard of people saying &#60;em&#62;eelee&#60;/em&#62; rather than &#60;em&#62;aylee&#60;/em&#62; or doing something somewhere in between, though they were probably bet-hedging trying not to offend.&#60;br /&#62;
Ukulele is properly pronounced &#60;em&#62;ookoolaylay&#60;/em&#62; so doesn't strictly rhyme.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;&#60;em&#62;CAUTION: advice on pronunciation of Scottish things given by non-Scottish people should first be checked with a qualified Scottish pronunciation authority&#60;/em&#62;
