I've seen it used to put 110 psi into one of my tyres. It's like a mini track pump, complete with hose and pressure gauge. It's got a short hose to prevent shearing of valves, works for schrader and presta, and folds out at base and top of handle to mimic (as far as possible) a track pump. They appear to have not only got smaller; but also pump tyres up better.</p> <p>I have two teeny versions (both presta only, but I think that's probably still a mini pump drawback, it would take aaaaaaages to pump up a 26" tyre).</p> <p>Blackburn Airstick SL (White): slightly fiddly to attach to the valve, and moves about a little once on (there's no locking mechanism) but seems to fill the tyre (700 x 25) pretty quickly, and resistance wasn't too bad up to about 80psi (will apparently go up to 130psi, but I was basically putting in enought to get home).</p> <p>Specialized Air Tool: cracking little pump, used it this morning. Has a metal locking lever that is easy to use, and means the pump stays rock solid on the valve. Nice smooth action, probably pushing less air than the Blackburn, so took a little longer, but again not too much resistance up to about 80psi. Nice quality feel to the metal body. </p>
