Drivers were actually <em>staying out of them</em>, mostly.</p> <p>Different story now. It's like they've suddenly remembered that PC Copper doesn't bother to enforce the ASL or punish transgressors. The white lines appearing around the city are the result of a Council decision on 2nd Feb to spend about £60k on refreshing cycle markings around the city before the end of March. The same decision included funding for c100 new cycle parking places.
