So I suppose in this case there is at least a sign and cyclists haven't been completely ignored. I bet there wasn't any advance warning though. We are not important enough for that.</p> <p>I don't think there is anything wrong per se, if it is a choice between closing the ped side and closing the cycle side then it would have to be the cycle side. After all they walk on the cycle bit often enough.
