It'll look less haphazard when I swap out those chunky STIs for something sleeker (and then wrap them all up properly with a better bar tape/electrical insulation tape ratio). I've a set of still-functional-seeming (albeit return-spring-less) Shimano 600 brake-only levers from oldbike which I shall install once the gears are all working.
