@ARobComp, as noted above they shipped a cap to me for free.....I suppose it doesn't cost them much as they're so light.

On the cap front - they look good - quite a lot of dollars but I would personalise mine to have the lie Scottish Football Association Scotland V Holland 1978 on mine [like my dad's Archie Gembo - all lies]

The green one I bought second hand off fleaBay from a chap in Leicester. I did order a cotton 'Yehuda Moon' cap from Walz through their site, and the shipping was free from the US to Edinburgh. Not bad, I say!

That would be Stardust Memories [not so funny but prior to marrying his daughter - see above for truth so still good - also starring Charlotte Rampling]

We preferred your earlier, funnier movies, he has the fans saying in the movie where he plays a film maker called Sandy. Apparently an homage to Frederico Fellini

I think in this film Woody played The Reluctant Sperm, also the male half of an Italian Couple who could only enjoy coitus [Dude reference] in public spaces and a man chased by a huge breast which I believe was a story line lifted directly from a Philip Roth short story?

Woody was all in white and if we are talking negative with also the logo SPEEDO embossed on the head, then yes the likeness is good.

Only, on a bike.

N.B. this was back when Woody was funny [although the film is patchy as clearly I can only remember three of the vignettes] and had not married his adoptive daughter or more accurately I am sure, the adoptive daughter of his partner Mia Farrow.

On the cap front - they look good - quite a lot of dollars but I would personalise mine to have the lie Scottish Football Association Scotland V Holland 1978 on mine [like my dad's Archie Gembo - all lies]

Buff from decathlon six quid. Is a flexible balaclava. Nylon swim cap from John Lewis sports dept four quid just about covers ears. If you have large hair the buff is good, if short the swim cap can be good. I swing from big quaff to short flat top so both good for me

Well I did sort of have that suggestion originally. I was going to add that I have no idea if a Lowe Alpine fits under another hat.

Nobody mentioned "Wear the fox hat" either.

On Thursday, when it was still sunny, I got to the boy's school and took my Tilley hat off to find that I had Sennheisers and an unnoticed pair of reading glasses on under it. Both the headphones and reading glasses were of a folding type but neither were folded at the time.

Zenfrozt,

You only use one X at a time. The other condenses into a Barr Body. Two active Xs would cause issues. Tortoiseshell cats are a result of the random nature of female X usage. Some patches use the paternal and others the maternal X which gives rise to the different colours.

I sometimes take off the sides of face hair to present a more Klingon aspect but usually I just leave the whole thing in place. Going Klingon does feel a wee bit cold to begin with.

@custard, I have something similar that I picked up in TK Maxx for not much a few years ago. They often have running/hiking/snowboarding stuff there.

@ARobComp, I like the look of that but I already have too many caps. When not donning a helmet to ride (ie. most of the time) I wear one of these:

http://www.walzcaps.com/caps_wool-fourpanel.html

Mine is green wool, <strike>which they don't seem to make any more</strike>. Seems it's part of their 'eco' range, made of organic hemp, wool, and lycra indeed!

http://www.walzcaps.com/caps_organic.html

Oh and a full set beard is a good idea in windy Scottish weather. If you can grow one.

@uberuce and @custard, lol I like the idea of that and my fiance talks of the benefits but my extra x chromosome has dictated that it is impossible for me to grow such awesome facial warming furniture. That said if I were a man and could grow facial fur, I would probably sport a fabulous moustache that I could wax so that it turned up at the sides :P
