But CEC is generally 'cautious' so they'd want to do it 'properly'. Obviously Grove Street wasn't always one way, and that section has been two way for <em>all</em> traffic when there was bridge work going on. </p> <p>CEC actually has a policy of creating contraflow cycle lanes in such places 'where practicable' - but they have been known to not do it 'for safety reasons' (probably so that drivers in Fountainbridge aren't confused by having to deal with cyclists coming out of Grove Street. </p> <p>However Dave isn't the only person to do it.
