Tickets still available, and also (probably) on the door.

(I'll repost my comments above: It's not religion. Just that Polwarth's got a good piano & organ, good acoustics (unlike most schools), and seating. Cheaper than a concert hall hire & available at short notice.)

And possibly a sociable pint after...

Thread on religion just started - kinda follows on (unintentionally, hadn't seen the post!) from SRD's comment. One of the things I seek out when travelling the world are religious sites. No matter what religion.

(Of course if you refuse to even enter places of worship, then that's up to you, but a bit limiting on the cultural front in most parts of the world.)

I'm afraid I don't do religion, but I will today happily donate the cost of a ticket on the Andrew Cyclist (http://www.andrewcyclist.com/donate/) website, maybe others who are not attending in person could do the same?

Hope this is greatly attended, sadly I will be heading northwards for the Etape. If you can't attend, how about donating what you would have paid for a ticket? http://www.andrewcyclist.com/donate/

Bruntsfield primary sent out a notice of this (and I didn't even ask them!). Don't know if either Mr SRd or I will be there (unlikely to be both), but I would definitely be up for a pint after. Uberuce, d'you still have my mobile #?

Earlier this year Andrew McNicoll (Edinburgh Road Club) was killed in Lanark Road, and in his memory there is a concert on Friday on 11th of May in Polwarth Parish Church with the proceeds going to the Andrew Cyclist Charitable Trust - newly set up to campaign for safer cycling. If you are in the Edinburgh area, please consider supporting this.
