Europe’s bicycle manufacturers have accused their Chinese competitors of benefiting from illegal government subsidies, opening an acrimonious chapter in a long-running trade dispute.[i]&#60;br /&#62;
&#60;/em&#62;&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Apparently Chinese bicycle manufacturers account for less than 4% of the EU market because the EU slaps a near 50% duty on them in response to the Chinese govt subsidies for bicycle manufacturers.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Not sure who/when can see the FT behind its paywall but this is interesting.&#60;/p&#62;
