Round profile worn flat across the middle, casing showing through in a number of places. I need to get the wider Vavert 'guards before I can fit the brand new CX tyres I have had sitting in the garage for a wee while now, so banking on it remaining dry I serviced the X's brakes and took that to work today - definitely going to be the right thing to do putting CX tyres on the Kaff - feels so much more comfy! (and 2 seconds faster on one of my Strava segments...).</p> <p>Anyway, thanks all for coming along on my little personal whim - high point for me was quite literal, being the multi-storey ascent. I'm a big kid at heart, and I'll be riding that one more often for views and such like. Just felt so much fun being part of a wee group doing that, it's the type of thing you only see in YouTube clips for cool San Francisco fixsters and the like.</p> <p>I'm glad the Craigentinny Marbles didn't disappoint as well.
