I almost tweeted an apology in the Southsider on April the 28th: Sorry to any cyclists inconvenienced by today's event...oh wait: there's none of you but decided it was too mean spirited.

That thought does mean I'm not fussed by lack of disruption warning to cyclists. Worst that can happen is we push for a sidestreet's distance and then get on with it.

Motorists are also being warned to plan their journeys in advance for some sort of football final cup procession bus waving thing in a week or so.

no buses through there, but onto the Western approach (including the excellent 22 service the tram 'replaces')
howeve no doubt it will disrupt through increased traffic volume going straight.
For bus users its usually the case the bus reroutes. though i did once stand at a suspended stop on Princes Steet :o in the early AM and watch my bus fly by!

I've pondered this before - the reporting on the latest tram works says that 'motorists are being warned of road closures'. What of bus users on the same route (are there buses use that street?). I would imagine that pedestrians won't be able to use the street either. And, of course, cyclists.
