Pashley will not provide the rim alone but only whole wheels with Sturmey Archer 5-speed hub, costing £150. Is this a reasonable price to pay? I've been quoted £25 to build a wheel plus 50p per spoke if I provide my own rim. Presumably, I could buy a recycled steel rim at The Bike Station and take that, perhaps a wheel with suitable-sized spokes still attached? </p>
