&#60;p&#62;Another 'made-up number' of course. Mix of not buying fuel, not getting cars serviced and various health benefits. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Stuff 'we' all understand to some extent. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;But it's curious after a weekend where a few political leaders of quite well off countries agonised about how to get &#34;growth&#34;. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Clearly that's $4.6 Billion that wasn't added to the US's GDP - unless it was spent on something more 'worthy'. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Perhaps the political difficulty of deciding between &#34;austerity and growth&#34; might cause some of them to think about whether they need to have a wider vision. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Perhaps not.
