This forum seems to be like that! I feel I know a lot more about what's going on in Edinburgh now I visit here :)

Sorry it was only an A5 mini-poster! It might have been legible if it had been A4.

I guess it's been taken down by now, but it reached a few people hopefully.

On the topic of posters: I need to get some made by next week to publicise the breakfast bikeride. Who made the awesome PoP posters? I loved the style! (I think the awesomeness of the pictures alone made 50% of the people turn up :).

We're just getting a couple more rides organised: The meadows (ward 10) and one from the Forth (ward 4)...

Feel we need a ride from Stockbridge though!

Does anyone know anyone who lives there, who cycles? I know one person who I'll send an email to...

The evolving map:
http://breakfastbikeride.org.uk/pwp/wordpress/?page_id=13

On Saturday, I'll 'lock' the map, and make all the rides confirmed.

Still no contact back from the bike week people...

so funny. I spotted a poster on the canal wall, and we've just been out with binoculars trying to see what its about. The rest of the family thought it was maybe something to do with Craiglockhart fete, but i saw the title and the logo and said 'not only do i know what its about, but I know who put the poster up'!

(I can't even pretend this is bike related, but I publicised POP at Amnesty, so figure it goes both ways :P)

Hi! Amnesty International are holding a panel discussion on the Arms Trade (to coincide with the Arms Trade Treaty). With the rise of the 'arab spring' the debate around the Arms Trade has new urgent relevance.

The debate is being held at St. John's Church on Wednesday 6th June (doors 7:30pm, start@8pm). Panel members include Dr. George Wilkes (academic), Jackie Kemp (journalist), Marco Biagi (MSP) and Shabnum Mustapha (Director, Amnesty Scotland).
