We don't fix things but we will tell them when things need to be looked at.</p> <p>I always found it a fairly negative thing.</p> <p>I got nabbed to mend a kids bike this afternoon. He came to my wife's work maybe 2 years ago and got her all worried telling her that her rims were badly worn and she shouldn't cycle her bike another meter. The bike was a 2 year old ridgeback with nothing wrong with the rims and has done at least 10 miles a day for the last 2 years with no problems whatsoever.
