As far as he can tell, measuring with a tape measure in a dark hallway, the hex-head retaining bolt is 14mm across and the internal/minor diameter of the dust-cap thread is "about 23mm". BG Cycles in Porty didn't have an applicable tool so it'll be a hoick to Eastside or TBW or TBS unless a kind internet person has an appropriate-sounding one I could briefly borrow... </p>
