We didn't do very well. As has been said one thing a ned can do is climb a wall, or a bus shelter with anti-climb paint or hurdle quite high hedges through people's gardens whilst the polis monitor the situation.</p> <p>The namesake of the hedge hurdler was even the first Briton to climb everest without oxygen and come back down and get on blue Peter.</p> <p>The everest climber was not a ned but he was given a focus that got him to the top of the world ma.</p> <p>Building a barricade like in Belfast or wherever is a practical thing that might appeal to some people as something "concrete" that can be done. I can understand the reason why some residents want this link closed, but agree with Dave that it'll not have much impact.
